This airplane safety instruction placard had me laughing out loud just before takeoff. While flat-heeled shoes ARE acceptable, high heels will not be tolerated as they will puncture the inflatable slide/life raft. This airplane safety instruction placard had me laughing out loud just before takeoff. While flat-heeled shoes ARE acceptable, high heels will not be tolerated as they will puncture the inflatable slide/life raft. All of this becomes even all the more funny when explained in German.
